On Sunday, Ross Dellenger of The Advocate was the first to report Louisiana State University had fired head football coach Les Miles and offensive coordinator Cam Cameron. Ross joined Press Row during Tuesday’s show to discuss the events that led to Miles’ firing and where he thinks LSU turns next. The segment podcast is available at the audio player below.
LSU athletic director Joe Alleva said he plans to consider the rest of the season “an audition” for Ed Orgeron, who was named interim head coach on Sunday. Alleva went on to say that he doesn’t believe he’ll have an issue attracting a quality candidate to replace Miles, and that the job is too big for someone without head coaching experience.
